CONCOA's Newest Fully Automatic Changeover Manifold for Ultra-High Purity Laboratory Gases
CONCOA introduces the AutoSwitch 2: The first truly automatic high purity switchover for gases from high-pressure sources. At the heart of the AutoSwitch 2 is its electric actuator, designed to automatically switch between high-pressure cylinder sources such as cylinder banks, tube trailers, generators, or compressors. Unlike most fully automatic switchovers, every valve in the AutoSwitch 2 has metal-to-metal seals to ensure continuous high-purity delivery without compromising purity integrity.
Fully Automatic The AutoSwitch 2 utilizes a state-of-the-art electronic actuator, making manual priority adjustment obsolete. Microprocessor control eliminates the cylinder status guesswork by displaying whether a bank of cylinders needs replacing or is in use.
Critical Purity Leak Integrity For gas distribution in laboratory settings, simply incorporating a high purity regulator with leaky solenoid valves is insufficient to achieve a high purity manifold system. Although the regulator component meets the leak specification, this type of system fails to maintain gas purity. For complete system leak integrity in critical purity applications, CONCOA developed the AutoSwitch 2. This game-changing manifold system is built with 400 Series high purity regulator technology and features diffusion-resistant construction from inlet to outlet, providing a helium leak integrity of 1 x 10⁻⁸ scc/sec. With fewer connections and integrated leak detection capability, the AutoSwitch 2 eliminates 25% of leak paths associated with box-style switchovers, ensuring critical purity leak integrity from source to all points of use.
Metal Diaphragms and Low Wetted Surface Area The AutoSwitch 2 achieves repeatable analytical results using non-permeating, stainless steel diaphragms. Additionally, the AutoSwitch 2 incorporates CONCOA’s precision-machined barstock body and proven encapsulated seat technology, which provides 360° filtration and gas-tight seals under all conditions.
