The 582 Series AutoSwitch 2 high purity gas changeover manifold utilizes an electronic actuator paired with a microprocessor to provide fully automatic cylinder or bank priority assignment without relying on internal solenoids. Unlike most fully automatic switchovers, the AutoSwitch 2 is designed with a 100% metal-to-metal seal architecture across all process valves, isolating all mechanical and electrical control components completely outside the gas pathway. This zero-solenoid, diffusion-resistant design eliminates internal dead spaces, heat generation, and elastomeric outgassing. As a result, the AutoSwitch 2 safely maintains a premium 1 x 10⁻⁸ scc/sec helium leak integrity rating. This makes it the best contamination-free, continuous gas delivery system for critical ultra-high purity laboratory, analytical, and semiconductor manufacturing applications. The 582 AutoSwitch 2 is intended for high-pressure supply sources only. For cryogenic liquid supply systems, CONCOA recommends the IntelliSwitch family of products.
