The 540 Series Back-Up Panel is designed to provide a reserve supply of gas for a primary reserve system that may cease to supply gas due to malfunction, normal maintenance, or power failure. If the pressure from the primary system falls below the set pressure of the regulator, the emergency reserve system automatically supplies gas to the downstream system to avoid interruption of flow. With optional alarm capability, the 540 Series back-up panel can signal when the system switches to reserve or when the reserve contents are getting low.
- Adjustable regulator pressure allows user to set the pressure at which the backup engages
- Automatic activation assures the uninterrupted supply of critical gases to their processes
- Shut-off valve on both primary and reserve enables isolation and disconnection of either line
- Check valve on primary supply prevents backflow
- Optional pressure switch inlet gauge and remote alarm permits user to set alarm to activate when the system switches to reserve supply or when the reserve contents are getting low
