The 580 Series Toxic and Corrosive Gas Detector provides effective protection for laboratories and confined workspaces where hazardous gases are used. A single generic controller is connected to a renewable sensor specific to a particular gas and measurement range. The sensor has a built-in microprocessor that stores gas, range, and calibration information. Sensor status is continuously monitored and is easily recharged or replaced. Digital display with built-in horn and LED alarm indicators quickly alert personnel to a hazardous condition. The universal CONCOA 580 Series toxic and corrosive gas detector is designed to work as a stand-alone monitor or can be integrated with the CONCOA 580 Series Horn and Strobe, 585 Series emergency shut-off controller, or other programmable gas monitoring system.
- Plug and play sensor automatically inputs gas and measurement range into the universal controller
- Dedicated microcontroller in removable sensor allows sensor calibration and maintenance
- Built-in digital display shows type of gas detected and concentration in ppm, ppb, or percentage
- 90dB built-in audible horn activates when concentration levels go above the selected alarm thresholds
