The 5270 Series regulator is intended for primary pressure and flow control of laser welding gases supplied from high pressure cylinders. For use with both carbon dioxide and fiber laser welding, the CONCOA 5270 Series regulator provides gas flows for plasma suppression and trailing gas shield gases.

  • Stainless steel tube outlet connection ensures leak-tight connections
  • Argon and helium flow scale permits dual-scale flow control
  • Large, convoluted diaphragm facilitates smooth pressure changes
  • CAPSULE® seat assembly provides increased life and serviceability
  • Gas service: argon, helium
  • Preset delivery pressure: 30 PSIG (2 BAR)
  • Body: Chrome-plated brass barstock
  • Bonnet: Chrome-plated, die-cast zinc
  • Gauges: 2 in (50 mm) diameter brass
  • Filter: 10-micron sintered bronze
  • Temperature range: -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C)
  • Diaphragm: 316L stainless steel
  • Helium leak integrity: 1 x 10⁻⁸ scc/sec
  • Outlet connection: 1/8 in stainless steel compression tube fitting
  • Ports: 1/2 in FNPT; 1/8 in FNPT (flowmeter inlet)
  • Internal seals: PTFE
  • Conformances: Cleanliness meets or exceeds CGA G-4.1; ANSI/ASME B40.1; CRN OH5216.5R2
