The 551 Series Semi-Flexible Vacuum-Jacketed Hose is a rugged, high-performance cryogenic hose engineered for use with the 577 CryoWiz™ cryogenic switchover system and the 57V Series cryogenic header, delivering a complete solution for continuous liquid nitrogen supply. Because liquid nitrogen has an extremely low boiling point, even slight heat exposure can lead to rapid boil-off. The hose’s vacuum-jacketed and insulated design creates an effective barrier to heat transfer, helping preserve the cryogen’s low temperature. For added performance and serviceability, the 551 Series includes an SV-9 pump-out port to maintain vacuum integrity over time. Ideally suited for connecting the primary liquid cylinder source to the CryoWiz™ system, CONCOA's 551 Series Semi-Flexible Vacuum-Jacketed Hose ensures efficient, low-loss delivery with long-term reliability.

 

  • Vacuum-jacket and insulation reduce evaporation to eliminate frost and condensation during transfers
  • Brass plug and chain on the side without pump-out port provides secure closure and prevents contamination, moisture ingress, or accidental venting
  • Pump-out port restores vacuum levels for long-term thermal performance
  • Swivel end connectors ensure leak-tight seals
  • Max working pressure: 1200 PSIG (80 BAR)
  • Inner core: 1/2 in braided stainless steel
  • Outer jacket: 1-1/4 in ID, braided stainless steel
  • Connections: CGA 295 female flare (both ends) with CGA 295 male plug and chain on inlet
  • Helium leak integrity: 1x10⁻⁹ scc/sec
  • Pump out port: SV-9
