The single and dual-channel intrinsic safety barriers are essential components of intrinsically safe applications. The CONCOA single and dual-channel intrinsically safe barrier permits the safe operation of electrical equipment in hazardous areas by limiting the current, voltage, and total energy to a safe level. CONCOA intrinsic safety barriers control the source of ignition, never allowing enough energy to make ignition possible. Creating an intrinsically safe environment is a superior method for hazardous locations since it prevents an explosion from taking place. Please note that the single and dual-channel intrinsic safety barriers have been validated with CONCOA pressure transducers and pressure switch gauges specifically intended for hazardous environments and CONCOA remote alarms, monitors, and controllers.
